Physical Plant Services staff and contractors will be working on the main electrical distribution within Dupuis Hall during a planned power outage on Friday, Nov. 14 between 6:30 am and 8 am, which will affect only the following areas occupied by Chemical Engineering:

Pilot Plant (Room B22)
Corridor lighting on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floor
Laboratory benches (including fume hoods) on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floor

Please note:

Occupants working in the Pilot Plant and on the laboratory benches should power down all equipment prior to leaving for the day on Thursday, Nov. 13. There are no fire safety implications arising from this work as regular power will remain available in all other areas of the building. ITServices will not be affected by this shutdown. The passenger elevator will remain in operation while the above referenced work is performed.
