Queen’s Board Trustee speaking at Kingston WritersFest

Queen’s Board Trustee John Stackhouse will be speaking as part of the upcoming Kingston WritersFest on Wednesday, Sept. 23, at 8 pm.

A Queen’s alumnus (Com’85), author, journalist, and senior fellow at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Policy, Stackhouse has a new book – Planet Canada – coming out in October where he contends that the country's greatest untapped resource may be the 3 million Canadians who don't live here.

A leading thinker on Canada’s place in the world, Stackhouse argues that Canada’s voice is “in danger of being lost in the noise as larger powers and rapidly developing nations vociferously claim their place as international influencers.”

This free event is supported by the Office of the Principal. Registration can be found on the Kingston WritersFest website.
