Advisory Search Committee — Assistant Dean, Distributed Medical Education

Dr. Phillip D. Wattam’s term as Assistant Dean, Distributed Medical Education will end on June 30, 2018. An Advisory Search Committee has been established to provide advice on the leadership and the present state and future prospects of Distributed Medical Education.

The composition of the committee is as follows:

Faculty, staff, students, residents and all other members of the hospital and university communities, are invited to submit their comments, in writing, on the present state and future prospects of Distributed Medical Education and to submit names of possible candidates for the position of assistant dean, Distributed Medical Education and the reasons for supporting each nominee. NOTICES

Award for Excellence in Graduate Student Supervision

The School of Graduate Studies invites nominations for consideration for the 2018 Award for Excellence in Graduate Student Supervision.  The purpose of this award is to recognize outstanding supervisors who demonstrate excellence in advising, monitoring and mentoring their graduate students.  Two awards will be made: one in the Social Sciences and Humanities, and one in Life Sciences, Natural Sciences and Engineering. Please see the attached guidelines, nomination form, and tips for preparing nomination packages. Nomination packages should be submitted to the Dean, School of Graduate Studies, Gordon Hall 425, by 4 pm on Friday, May 25.
