Student Wellness Services to close during move to new Mitchell Hall space

Limited crisis counseling will be available, and the full set of services will reopen in Mitchell Hall on July 22, 2019.

From July 15-19, Queen’s Student Wellness Services (SWS) will be moving from its facilities in the LaSalle Building to the newly opened Mitchell Hall. During this week, wellness services currently offered at the LaSalle facility will be closed.

Some crisis counseling will be available on campus, but students will be primarily referred to community-based services. A list of services available during the closure can be found on the Student Wellness Service website.

SWS medical, mental health, and accessibility services will reopen on the main floor of Mitchell Hall starting on Monday, July 22, 2019. Some services may be temporarily limited as the team adjusts to operations in the new space.

Student Wellness Services’ Health Promotion service opened its Mitchell Hall space in December 2018, and will remain open during this time.

Apart from the closure, Student Wellness Service will be open daily for summer hours of operation, from 9 am to 4:30 pm, until the end of August. Evening and walk-in service will resume in September.
