UPDATE: Macdonald Hall elevator restored to service

The passenger elevator (EL1323) serving the atrium in Macdonald Hall was restored to service at approximately 10 am this morning (Thursday, Nov. 15).

The passenger elevator (EL1323) serving the atrium (floors 1-5) in Macdonald Hall will remain out of service as of Wednesday, Nov. 14, until further notice while the elevator pit dries out following a sump pump failure. A separate notice will be issued to advise when this device is restored to service.

During this service interruption, there is a link, but no automatic door opener, from Mackintosh-Corry Hall level B5 to Macdonald Hall level 3; however, there will not be accessible access available to Macdonald Hall levels 2, 4 and 5.
