Vertical lift in Mackintosh-Corry Hall out of service until further notice

The vertical lift (EL1642) in Mackintosh-Corry Hall is beyond the point of repair. Physical Plant Services has established a project to expedite the replacement of this elevating device. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available and the timeline for this project is confirmed.

Building occupants and visitors to Mackintosh-Corry Hall may access to the upper south levels of the building via the south passenger elevator (EL1643). The north upper levels are most easily accessed via north passenger elevator (EL1641) as well as the interior building links from Dunning Hall, Macdonald Hall and Robert Sutherland Hall - see Campus Accessibility Guide – Mackintosh-Corry Hall for details. Unfortunately, there will be no accessible interior link between the north and south portions of the building until the new elevating device is commissioned.
