VFA facilities condition audits continue

VFA Canada has been retained to perform a campus-wide facilities condition audit on behalf of Physical Plant Services (PPS). The inspection of the asset interiors will include:

  • All mechanical and electrical rooms
  • Libraries, offices, classrooms, boardrooms, dining halls, hallways, roofs, exterior, etc.

Note: In buildings with identical rooms (e.g. residence rooms), only 20% of the identical rooms will be assessed.

Auditors will either sign out keys from PPS or be escorted by PPS staff as they travel through each building. In addition, each auditor will wear a badge identifying that they are with VFA. There should be minimal disruptions to the day-to-day activities.

The following buildings are scheduled to be audited over the next two weeks:
