Due to current weather conditions, the domestic water shutdown planned for today at the Coastal Engineering and GeoEngineering Laboratories located at 950 Johnson Street has been postponed to Friday, October 17 between 7 am and 1 pm (approximate timing). Bettschen Construction will be continuing work to tap into the existing incoming main waterline for a water and sanitary extension to the Grounds building.
During the shutdown period, there will be no domestic hot or cold water available for research equipment, hand washing, and flushing toilets, etc.

UPDATE:
The water shutdown affecting the Coastal Engineering Laboratory and GeoEngineering Laboratory at 950 Johnson Street is being extended until 5 pm while work continues to tap into the existing incoming main waterline for a water and sanitary extension to the Grounds building.
A water shutdown will also affect these laboratories on Monday, October 20th between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm while Bettschen completes follow-up work associated with the water and sanitary extension to the Grounds building.
During the shutdown period, there will be no domestic hot or cold water available for research equipment, hand washing, and flushing toilets, etc. in the laboratories at 950 Johnson Street.
