Water shutdown scheduled for Biosciences Complex

A water shutdown is scheduled for Biosciences Complex on Thursday, Oct. 13 between 6 pm and midnight to permit Selleck Mechanical to tie-in new water lines as part of the ongoing renovation project to the office suite formerly occupied by PARTEQ. At the same time, a crew from E.S. Fox will be replacing toilets in a number washrooms as part of the ongoing CAPit energy conservation measures.

During the shutdown period, there will be no domestic hot or cold water available in the facility for handwashing, safety showers, eye wash stations or lab use, etc.  Washrooms are available in Humphrey Hall or Botterell Hall while this shutdown is in progress. A fire watch will be conducted until water service is restored to the facility.
