Congratulations to George Lovell who has been named the recipient of the Preston E. James Eminent Latin Americanist Career Award, an honour named after the distinguished American geographer Preston E. James (1899-1996) and bestowed annually by the Conference of Latin Americanist Geographers (CLAG). The award is given in recognition of a life-time achievement towards the understanding of the geography of Latin America.
