Undergraduate Admissions

Prospective students must first apply to Queen's University. Please visit the Queen's Undergraduate Admissions website for more details.

At the end of first year, if your plan reads ASC1 and you are entering the second year in the Fall Term, you must access SOLUS to select a plan. Please see our Automatic Acceptance and Pending List criteria.

Your first year at Queen's is considered a general year of study. We highly recommend that you register in GPHY 101 and GPHY102 in your first year as this is a prerequisite for second year GPHY courses. At the end of your first year, you choose between a Major, Medial or Minor program in Geography by declaring your plan on SOLUS at the beginning of the preregistration period (mid to late May). You can choose to do either a BA or a BSc. We highly recommend you attend Majors night in Arts and Science for more information on the Geography program. You can also access Major Maps for more information.

In mid to late May, Arts and Science students will request their degree plan via SOLUS. For more information on class selection please visit the Faculty of Arts and Science website.

From the beginning of June, you can access SOLUS to view your approved program. Course selection usually begins in early July.
