Two Faculty Members Receive ORF-SIF Awards

Congratulations to Dr. Matthew Leybourne, and Dr. Elisabeth Steel, on receiving Ontario Research Fund - Small Infrastructure Fund (ORF-SIF) awards. 

The Small Infrastructure Fund provides research institutions with funding to support infrastructure needs, such as acquiring research equipment. 

This fund is a part of the province of Ontario's greater initiative of help advance ‘Ontario made’ research and innovation at Ontario’s colleges, universities, research institutes and research hospitals. 

Dr. Leybourne was awarded funds for the John R. Evans Leaders Fund Project, "Advancing detection limits and in situ isotopic chemical chromatography for astroparticle and geochemical research ".  

Dr. Steel was awarded funds for the John R. Evans Leaders Fund Project, "Source to Sink Transport Dynamics: Exploring Evolution of Deltaic and Deepwater Systems through Physical Modelling ".
