June 4, 2018 Late Plan Selection and SXGD Certificate application begins

For those students who want to change their plan, either those going into second year or upper years, please see the steps on this page of the Faculty of Arts and Science webpage: https://www.queensu.ca/artsci/students-at-queens/changes-to-your-program Look under the "Change Your Program, Plan or Certificate" section for details.

Students who have taken a GNDS 120 or 125 class with at least a C- are eligible for various Gender Studies plans, based on their cumulative GPA. For those with GPA of 0.7 to 1.89 please check into our Gender Studies General BA plan. You can take all our courses and if your GPA improves to 1.90 you can contact us about changing into our BA Honours plan. For those with a cumulative GPA of 1.90 you are eligible for an Honours degree plan which include a Gender Studies Major or Minor plan. If you are interested in a Medial plan both departments have to approve your request.

If you are interested in an SXGD Certificate please see this page: https://www.queensu.ca/artsci/programs-and-degrees/certificates. This program offers the opportunity to engage with your scholarly interests - whatever they may be - as they connect to issues in gender, sexuality, queer and transgender studies. The Certificate is available to all undergraduate students at Queen's, regardless of their degree concentration. For more information see our SXGD page: http://queensu.ca/gnds/undergraduate/sexual-and-gender-diversity-certificate
