Department of Gender Studies

The Gender Studies Department has core and adjunct faculty with research interests in anti-racist feminisms, indigenous studies, ethnography, gender and poverty, globalization, social justice, activism, popular culture and queer studies. We also have over 35 cross-appointed faculty in various departments across campus. These faculty teach classes that bring an interdisciplinary perspective of gender and race into courses for a Queen's degree in Gender Studies. Our staff are committed to helping the department be a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.
