From Tiohtià:ke/Montreal, Julie completed her undergraduate degree in Political Science at Concordia University in 2018. Since then, she has been involved with various non-profit organizations working on community development and grassroots advocacy related to housing, social and immigration rights. Using an anti-colonial and anti-racist approach, her Master's research examines the implications of Quebec's welfare policies on people living in poverty.
