About

I am a fourth year PhD candidate under the supervision of Dr. Karen Dubinsky. I am interested in the history of homelessness among 2SLGBTQ+ youth in Canada, and specifically the ways that youth established families of choice. Through an ethnographic approach, I hope to historicize contemporary issues of homelessness among 2SLGBTQ+ youth, and to highlight ways that youth ascribed meaning to their experiences and fostered interpersonal relationships in the contentious space that exists between home and the street.
