About

After almost 42 years in the Canadian Forces and the Royal Canadian Air Force, Bill is set to commence work on his PhD under the supervision of Dr. Allan English.  The focus of his research will be on the immediate aftermath of the Second World War and the employment of Canadian military personnel as part of the occupation forces in Germany.  Bill’s other interests include the integration of land and aviation forces during the First and Second World Wars, air power history and Canadian history in general.
