Tabitha Renaud is studying the language barrier between aboriginal peoples and European explorers in sixteenth century Northeastern America. Her MA thesis pertained to the earliest attempts of England and France to explore and colonize North America. Tabitha is supervised by Dr. Jane Errington and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Kingston Museum Association, having worked at several museums and archives. She is currently serving as President of the Graduate History Student Association and teaching HIST 390-002 ? Early Encounters in the Americas.
