Mitchell Gouldmitchell gould

M.A. Candidate
Early Modern England

B.A. (Hons), University of Toronto

Mitchell graduated from the University of Toronto, having completed a double major in English Literature and History with a Minor in Classical Civilizations. Under the supervision of Dr. Jeffrey Collins, he will be studying Protestant sermons written and delivered in Elizabethan England. He will specifically focus upon how the sermons attempt to connect and relate to Jerusalem. Mitchell received much of the inspiration for this area of study after completing a month-long historical and archaeological survey of the city of Jerusalem in a summer course offered at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In his spare time, he enjoys marathoning TV shows on Netflix, and conducting genealogical research on his family roots.
