Diane’s research interests include African studies, Zambian political history, global history, issues of gender and feminism, cultural theory, and social justice. Her Ph.D. focuses on the Chona Commission, a document informing the 1973 Zambian Constitution, and its later renditions. Her M.A, History at Queen’s was a continuation of her M.ES, where she examined issues of gender and culture in colonial and postcolonial Zambia. She is being supervised by Dr. Marc Epprecht.
