Ashlyn Gregory

About

Ashlyn Gregory is a first year M.A. student studying 19th and 20th century Canadian social history with a focus on moral regulation and the interactions between institutions and marginalized communities. Under the supervision of Dr. Steven Maynard, Ashlyn’s M.A. research will explore the Kingston House of Industry and how wealthy Kingstonians used the institution to segregate and control the city’s poor population.

Ashlyn has a keen interest in the cultural heritage sector, and she currently works for the Frontenac County Schools Museum as the Collections Assistant.
