My research focuses primarily on the Early Medieval Mediterranean. Specifically looking at how the Post-Roman societies of the Eastern Mediterranean engaged with and had their ideas shaped by the intellectual and written tradition of the Roman society that preceded them. My research is supervised by Dr. Adnan Husain.
