Deanna Turner is a doctoral student studying Canadian history under the supervision of Dr. Jeffrey McNairn. Her current research centers upon Canadian publishing history, and seeks to interrogate the semblances of national history as they are portrayed over time, across multiple authors, and through the differently situated genres of adult and children literature. Her interests also include East Asian history, historiography, and historical theory.
