About
Shelley is a first year M.A candidate working with Dr. Laila Haidarali as her supervisor. Her SSHRC-funded cognate explores 19th and 20th century Asian Canadian and American race/gender history, specifically the comparative experiences between Chinese, Korean, and Japanese immigrant women. She is also interested in exploring wider social movements such as African American women’s history.
