About

am from Calgary, Alberta and am currently studying under Dr. Karen Dubinsky. My undergraduate honours thesis focused on depictions of bodies in late nineteenth-century graphic satire and how such depictions were not only reflective but also productive of specific identities and power relations. I plan on expanding these themes through my graduate research, focusing on the application of gender and body theory to the 19th and 20th-century Canadian context.
