About

After more than a decade of working in banking and international trade following studies in Law, I decided to return to university to pursue my interests in History. I completed my B.A. in History at Bishop’s University in 2018. Having lived in Québec during the two referendums on independence, I have always taken an interest in politics, history, nationalism and identity in Canada. Under the supervision of Dr Sandra den Otter and Dr Jeffrey McNairn, I am researching views on British imperialism in Canada in the late 19th century with special focus on Québec. My work, therefore, blends my interests in Québec history, Canadian history and British imperial history.
