Role Description

A Bone and Joint Health Researcher demonstrates knowledge of clinical, scientific, and technical issues and effectively integrates biological, engineering, and information technologies in bone and joint health research.

Core Competencies

  1. Research Technologies: Understand the principles of operation and limitations of key technologies used in the biological, engineering, and information technology fields.

  2. Multidisciplinary Research: Understanding of clinical, scientific, and technical issues related to bone and joint health.

  3. Research Terminologies: Master and use terminology in the area of biomedical engineering, and life and clinical sciences.

  4. Research Experimentation: Develop and perform relevant methods for experimentation and technology development.

  5. Research and Evaluation Methods: Understand research and evaluation using qualitative, quantitative, and mixed approaches and evaluates the scientific and technical validity of research outcomes.
