Conference
The 15th Annual conference will be held March 11-12, 2021.
The deadline to submit an abstract for the 15th annual conference is Friday, February 19, 2021.
In past years the deadline has been extended. If you would like to submit an abstract for the conference and the submission deadline above has passed, please contact iatq@queensu.ca to see if it is still possible to submit.
An email will be sent to all participants to inform them when the program is available.
The conference will be virtual with presentations grouped by theme and a separate poster session. Both will be followed by live questions and discussion.
Presenters - Oral Presentations
How do I know which day I am scheduled to present my paper?
As soon as we have finalized the program, we will email your date and time. This will be by the end of February.
Presentations will be grouped by theme so it will be difficult to shift the time of individual presentations.
Presentations can be up to ten-twelve minutes. Poster presentations can be up to five minutes.
Yes. Each talk will be part of a themed session that will have anywhere from 3-5 presentations. Each session will be moderated by a member of the Queen's faculty. You are expected to be present for the entire session which should be about one hour in length
Yes. We need you to send a copy of your presentation slides or poster to iatq@queensu.ca by Wednesday, March 4, 2021.
Conference sessions will be run using Zoom Webinar. A moderator will introduce you and you will share your screen presentation and then take questions from the online audience. Small groups of posters will be presented together followed by a live question and answer period. There will be practice sessions offered during the first week of March so you can familiarize yourself with the technology and meet us!
Yes, but any changes you make must be sent to iatq@queensu.ca by the end of February.
Presenters - Poster Presentations
Since the conference is virtual, you can develop your one-page poster in any program you wish and then save it as a PDF.
A time period for formal presentation of posters will be arranged. You will be able to participate live in the Q & A during your poster presentation time.
All abstracts, posters, and full papers will be published within the I@Q conference proceedings journal.
