Isabel is a graduate student at Queen's University School of Policy Studies studying public administration. She hails from Singapore but has spent over a decade studying, working, and living in Canada. Before attending Queen's, Isabel spent a few years working as an Anti-Money Laundering Analyst for financial institutions. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources from the Sauder School of Business. Her research interest and exploration include sustainable development, illicit economies, and transnational organized crime in the Southeast Asian region. Outside of graduate school, Isabel works remotely from Kingston as a Junior Professional Consultant with the United Nations Capital Development Fund for the Papua New Guinea country office. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis and making tea.
