Office 365 Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) is a service from Microsoft that protects users from malicious threats posed by email messages, links (URLs) and collaboration tools.

Getting Started

Who Can Have It?

  • ATP Safe Links and ATP for SharePoint is part of the Office 365 suite of cloud-based services available to all current students, staff and faculty of Queen's University with an active Queen's NetID@queensu.ca email account. ATP Safe Attachments is currently only available to all Staff and Faculty at Queen's. 

Are There Any Costs?

  • ATP is part of Office 365 service and provided at no cost to eligible users.

How Do I Get It?

  • ATP is built into Office 365, therefore there are no steps required to obtain this service.

What if I Leave Queen's?

  • Please see the Office 365 section of the Service Termination Dates page for details on when service will be discontinued following departure from Queen's. As long as you have a Queen's email account, ATP will protect it.
