Unleashing Collaborative Learning in Flexible Environments with Microsoft Teams

Details

To support faculty and staff as they shift to remote delivery of content, course material and learning, Microsoft has put together a 5-part series titled “Unleashing Collaborative Learning in Flexible Environments with Microsoft Teams” to speak to the many elevated conversations that are occurring as result of the transition to remote learning. In addition, Microsoft has crafted a Teams quick start guide and specific Teams webinar training for faculty.

This series is dedicated to the faculty who look to continue facilitating learning and are taking steps to provide high quality experiences for their students through a synchronous learning environment.  Microsoft will explore how modern learning design can develop deep technical, social emotional and digital skills, while maximizing student engagement.

In this session, you will learn the basics of how to use Teams to chat with your colleagues and collaborate on projects. Through a series of live demonstrations and best practices, you’ll leave this session with everything you need to start using Teams.

After this session, you will be able to:

  • Set up your profile and notifications in Microsoft Teams,
  • Use chat and calling for 1:1 and group conversations, sharing and collaboration in Microsoft Teams,
  • Schedule and conduct meetings in Microsoft Teams, and

Enabling Real-time Collaboration for Cross-functional Teams
