Yammer
Yammer groups are tightly integrated with Office 365 and users should review the Microsoft 365 Groups Service page and Groups Guidelines before getting started with Yammer.

Getting Started
Who Can Have It?
- The Queen's Yammer Enterprise Network is part of the Office 365 suite of cloud-based services that is available to all current students, staff and faculty of Queen's University with an active Queen's NetID@queensu.ca email account
- Alumni and retired staff and faculty are not eligible to use this service
Are There Any Costs?
- Yammer is part of Office 365 service and provided at no cost to eligible users
- Users are responsible for any personal ISP/cellular arising data charges arising from use of the Queen's Yammer Network
How Do I Get It?
- Students, faculty and staff can create an Office 365 connected Yammer group using Self-Service in Yammer
- Please review the Groups Guidelines before getting started.
How to access Yammer?
- Yammer tile in the app launcher of the Office 365 Portal, https://office.com/signin
- Yammer on the web at https://yammer.com/queensu.ca
- Yammer desktop client for Windows and Mac
- Yammer can also be accessed from anywhere using mobile apps
How Do I Delete a Yammer Connected Group?
WARNING: When you delete an Microsoft 365 connected Yammer Group, you are permanently deleting the group.
Deletion will remove access to all group conversations, email messages, files, calendars, and any other related information. If you would like to delete a Yammer Group or related data, please see Manage a group in Yammer
What if I Leave Queen's?
- Please see the Office 365 section of the Service Termination Timelines page for details on when service will be discontinued following departure from Queen's

- Your activity in the Yammer network is governed by university policies, such as Acceptable Use of Information Technology Resources Policy and provincial and federal requirements, such as FIPPA. Please refrain from posting any sensitive/confidential information in this online forum and review the ITS webpage Social Media Security and Queen's Social Media Guidelines before using Yammer and other social media platforms.
