Telephone and Voice Mail FAQ
ITServices has gathered a listing of frequently asked questions. If you have a question that is not found on the list, please fill out the Online Support Form or call us at 613 533 6666.

* Enter your 5 digit mailbox number
* Press #

* Try unplugging and plugging the phone back in (from the back of the phone)
* Check to see that the phone is in the correct jack and plugged in tightly.
* Check to see that the line cord or handset cord has not accidentally been unplugged
This is a problem that is limited to 9 button phones. If you have one, and this occurs, try unplugging and plugging the phone back in. This will reset it.
No new features will be introduced at this time. Potential new features will be examined for cost, scalability and potential benefits to the Queen's community.
- Listen to all messages in your mailbox so there are no 'new' messages.
- Send yourself a message using "express messaging".
- Wait a few moments for the message indicator light to light up. If the notification light isn't turned on, please contact the ITSC at 36666.

- To set an expiry date, press 9 and follow prompts
Change online directory Email address:
Students - Changes can be made through SOLUS
Faculty/Staff - Changes can be made using the Email Directory Correction Form
Online directory Telephone change Faculty/Staff: To change a phone number in the online directory you must contact your ITAdmin Rep.
Online directory Department change Faculty/Staff: If you change departments and the listing continues to show the old one, you should contact Human Resources at 32070 to make sure your current appointment is correct.
