IT Services offers hands-on workshops, one-on-one appointments and tutorials to Queen's students, faculty and staff who are using the WebPublish content management system. If you would like to arrange training or a demonstration for your group, please submit a request through the IT Services Help Form.

Introduction to WebPublish

In an effort to adapt to our current remote environment, we will be modifying the format of our next session. Content will be presented in a webinar format. Following the session, participants will be given access to a training website and materials to practice the skills presented through hands-on activities.

This introductory workshop offers you the opportunity to learn the basics of WebPublish, using a training website to participate in hands-on activities.  Topics to be covered include:

  • creating and editing a page;
  • making a page live;
  • uploading assets (e.g., images and PDFs);
  • URL aliases;
  • site enhancements (e.g., column layouts, blocks, collapsibles, etc.); 
  • effective use of support mechanisms in place; and
  • accessibility roles and responsibilities.

Intended Audience:

  • For anyone who is new to WebPublish
