IT Services offers hands-on workshops, one-on-one appointments and tutorials to Queen's students, faculty and staff who are using the WebPublish content management system. If you would like to arrange training or a demonstration for your group, please submit a request through the IT Services Help Form.

Introduction to WebPublish

Details

This introductory workshop offers you the opportunity to learn the basics of WebPublish, using a training website to participate in hands-on activities.  Topics to be covered include:

  • creating and editing a page;
  • making a page live;
  • uploading assets (e.g., images and PDFs);
  • URL aliases;
  • site enhancements (e.g., column layouts, blocks, collapsibles, etc.); 
  • effective use of support mechanisms in place; and
  • accessibility roles and responsibilities.

Intended Audience:

  • For anyone who is new to WebPublish

Prerequisites:

  • None
