Andrea Rochon, RN, MNSc, Research Assistant
Andrea is a Registered Nurse with a degree from Nipissing University. She has a Master of Science in Nursing Degree from Laurentian University with a dissertation and publication in intraprofessional nursing teamwork. Andrea is currently enrolled in the PhD program at Queen’s University. Andrea has a number of years of clinical experience in surgical nursing. Her most recent role was as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in gerontology. She currently works as a clinical instructor in various settings including pediatrics, family health, and community health nursing. Andrea also has experience as a teaching fellow and research assistant. Andrea’s research interests include care of the older adult, healthy aging, polypharmacy, and patient safety.
