Kingston HomeShare is an intergenerational housing program by the National Initiative for Care of the Elderly. Homeshare works to match older adult home providers with students to create mutually beneficial living solutions. Their work aims to support aging in place for older adults while providing safe and affordable housing solutions for post-secondary students. In exchange for affordable rent (between $400-$600 per month) students contribute up to seven hours per week of assistance around the home and/or companionship for their home provider.  To find out more or to fill out an application please visit https://www.canadahomeshare.com/
