Welcome to the official website for the 2017 Ontario Ecology, Ethology and Evolution Colloquium (OE3C). For almost 50 years OE3C has provided the opportunity for researchers in multiple fields and in different stages of their careers to share their research, and make lasting connections with their peers and professionals in their field.

OE3C is an event that caters to researchers from all stages of their careers, from undergraduate to faculty. As it falls just after the end of the winter semester it is an ideal opportunity to attend your first conference and present work in a poster session or a talk. OE3C is a multidisciplinary event that highlights research in ecology, evolution, conservation, behavior, environmental sciences, genetics, molecular and cellular biology, and psychology.

This spring Queen’s University is proud to host the 47th OE3C! Queen’s University is located in Kingston, Ontario, alongside the beautiful Lake Ontario waterfront. Just having celebrated it’s 175th anniversary, Queen’s is an enriching, historic research institution in Canada. Queen’s has a diverse research focus in biology, including departments such as Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Molecular and Cellular Integrative Biology, Paleoecological Environmental Assessment and Research, Environmental Sciences, and Life Sciences.

We are excited to welcome researchers from all across Ontario to Kingston!
