Sexual Violence

On December 2, 2016 the Queen's University Board of Trustees approved the Policy on Sexual Violence Involving Queen's University Students. Sexual violence can occur between individuals regardless of sexual orientation, gender, and gender identity or relationship. Queen's University is committed to maintaining a positive learning and living environment in which any form of sexual violence will not be tolerated. The University addresses sexual violence in the Queen's community through support, awareness, education, training and prevention programs, and through appropriate handling of incident Disclosures and Reports. The University recognizes that students affected by sexual violence are integral decision-makers in situations pertaining to themselves and should be allowed to determine whether and to whom they wish to Disclose or Report.
