About this Event

Business emotional intelligence is the ability to focus on and manage the critical emotional drivers and underlying behaviours that determine why we -- and others -- behave effectively (or not) in the work place.

We need our emotional intelligence the most when we are stressed, tired and not on top of our game, and that’s often when it is least accessible to us.

This 90-minute webinar with Angela Hoyt of Evolution Group will:

  • Introduce us to business emotional intelligence traits
  • Explore how our unique traits and current events -- like building a business during COVID-19 -- are pushing us into, or out of, our comfort zone
  • Share practical tips to expand our emotional intelligence during this peculiar time in history

Note: Attendees will be emailed a Zoom link to the online session the day before the event.

ABOUT THE WE-CAN PROJECT:

The WE-CAN Project is led by Queen’s University and supported by the Government of Canada. The Government of Canada, through FedDev Ontario’s Women’s Entrepreneurship Strategy (WES) Ecosystem Fund is providing $3.2 million for Queen’s University to design and deliver programs and services to accelerate, train, mentor and provide resources to women entrepreneurs and women-led companies in the community.

The focus of the WES strategy is to provide support to women entrepreneurs from diverse and underrepresented groups.
