Launch Lab appoints new CEO

The Board of Directors of Launch Lab is excited to announce that effective today, Monday, March 19, Michael Mann will be named Chief Executive Officer of the organization. 

Launch Lab, formerly known as Elorin, is the Regional Innovation Center (RIC) for Eastern Ontario, under the umbrella of the Ontario Centres of Excellence (ONE) within Ontario’s Ministry of Economic Development and Innovation (MEDI).  Launch Lab has a mandate to work with its community partners to assist innovative and entrepreneurial companies develop ideas from concept to market, leveraging a network of seasoned business analysts, business advisors, community partners, investors and government.
Michael Mann is a lifetime entrepreneur, who, after an international career in technical sales, built his company from its conceptual beginnings to become a reputable supplier of manufacturing equipment in to the electronics industry, selling to many well-known global electronics companies.  After exiting this business, Michael has helped many SME’s turn their businesses around as an advisor, through his own consulting firm.   “Michael’s extensive background as an entrepreneur, along with his business knowledge, and his positive high energy and can-do spirit make him an ideal Chief Executive for our organization”, said Stephen Rosa, Chairman of the Board of Launch Lab.  ”We are excited to watch him take the reins and help to lead Eastern Ontario to an exciting future state.”
Launch Lab has a catchment area that spans most of Eastern Ontario from the borders of Northumberland county to the Quebec border, and its head office is in Kingston.
