Kingston, ON – Sustainability and ingredient transparency was the notable theme to this years’ NYSCC Suppliers’ Day exhibition. Advonex® International’s Entrada® product line was one of five finalists for “Most Sustainable Raw Material of 2017” award presented by NYSCC Tuesday evening. This exhibition showcases the latest cosmetics and personal care ingredients from around the world. Held at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City, the show is attended by over 8,000 chemists and buyers from formulators of cosmetics and other personal care products.
Produced from processes adhering to Green Chemistry principles, Entrada is better for the environment and consumer health. By leaving fossil fuels in the ground, Advonex reduces environmental impact and eliminates the need to purify crude oil of impurities and contamination. As a result, Advonex ensures a safer, cleaner environment for future generations to come.
“Advonex International embraces sustainability as a core value, and we’re honoured to be nominated for an award that recognizes our company’s commitment to promoting sustainable practices,” said Dr. Joshi, CEO. “The passion and expertise of our people drive innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers while creating a more sustainable world. Our Entrada line of plant-based renewable hydrocarbons demonstrates the power of innovation to solve environmental challenges.”
