Artisanal granola company ‘Urban Hippie’ is soon to be stocking the shelves at Sobeys.

Urban Hippie Granola, a Kingston based company is excited to announce it will be expanding into several Sobeys grocery stores due to our successful participation in the ‘Local Supplier, Eat Better, Feel Better. Do Better.’ program. The company prides itself on crafting artisanal handmade granola available in different flavors such as; ‘Maca Matcha Superfood’, ‘Vanilla and Cinnamon Flax Seed’, ‘Tahitian Vanilla Coconut’, ‘Tutti Fruitti, and “No Sugar But You So Sweet’.

“I’ve been busy developing new flavor combinations for Urban Hippie in our test kitchen. Our customers’ taste preferences are very important to me which is why I request feedback on a routine basis. Chocolate is in high demand this year so in response, I developed our new ‘Chocolate Coconut’ granola flavor. The Urban Hippie line will be launching in 14 Sobeys and Foodland stores in Ottawa. I’m really looking forward to launching in Sobeys in our capital”, says owner and operator of Urban Hippie, Casey Krebs.

Urban Hippie is celebrating their fourth successful year of making delicious, handcrafted granola. The company takes pleasure in using local, organic, fair trade, and responsibly sourced ingredients. All Urban Hippie granola is certified by the Whole Grain Council and Non-GMO Project. All products are high in fiber without any artificial flavors or colors and are handmade with pride.

We’d like to thank our clients and our partners for contributing to our success and we look forward to seeing you at our upcoming in-store demonstrations which we will be announcing shortly.
