About this Event
Looking for an alternate form of funding for your business? Consider crowdfunding, a popular method of raising capital through the collective effort of friends, family, customers and individual investors.
In this 90-minute workshop, Zulany Pacheco of Equivesto will answer your crowdfunding questions, including:
- What are the different types of crowdfunding available?
- What is Equity Crowdfunding (ECF) and what are its benefits?
- How can you prepare for an ECF round?
- How can you raise up to $1.5M with ECF?
The session will also include a crowdfunding case study with Kingston entrepreneur Monica Miller of the Kingston Forest and Nature School who launched a successful $20,000 campaign on Kickstarter.
