This hour-long session will cover the following topics:

  • Determining if your idea is “known” or “not yet known”
  • Naming your company
  • Naming your product
  • How to do a trademark search
  • Understanding a NUANS search
  • How to know when you should file a patent application
  • The patent application process

“First Things First” is intended to be an information session only and should not be considered as an alternative to individual company advice on intellectual property.
