About this Event

Kingston and Quinte-area women entrepreneurs now have access to a new and exciting funding model known as peer lending circles.

Join the WE-CAN Project at Queen’s University for an interactive and engaging online workshop with PARO facilitator Cathy Ireland.

Together we’ll learn how peer lending circles work and which businesses and individuals are best-suited for this alternative business funding approach.

In this workshop, we will explore:

  • What PARO is all about
  • What a peer lending circle is and how it works
  • How to start a peer lending circle
  • The advantages and disadvantages of peer lending
  • Mini-case studies of peer lending

NOTE: Attendees will be emailed a Zoom link to the online session on the day of the event.
