About this Event

Instagram stories, IGTV, Instagram Live, Reels... what the heck are all of these things, how do you make them and (most importantly) WHY?

If you use Instagram are you going to have to dance and point? Nope! You get to use Instagram exactly how YOU choose to use Instagram.

In this 90-minute workshop, speaking, visibility and confidence expert Megan Hamilton helps break down the different types of Instagram videos, how to create them, and what to use them for.

You'll also learn the performance skills needed to help you create dynamic and well-branded videos, and begin creating meaningful relationships with potential clients (instead of flinging spaghetti at the wall and hoping it sticks).

If you'd like to participate in the workshop, come prepared with a basic Instagram video idea by asking the question: what is my client's biggest problem and how do I help solve it?

Live Zoom transcription will be enabled during this event. Should you require other accessibility supports, please email kerry.ramsay@queensu.ca as soon as possible since advance notice is necessary to arrange for some accessibility services.

NOTE: Attendees will be emailed a Zoom link to the online session by separate email prior to the event.

The WE-CAN Project is committed to providing universal access to all of our events. Please contact Kerry Ramsay at kerry.ramsay@queensu.ca if you have accessibility requirements as soon as possible as advance notice is necessary to arrange for some accessibility needs.
