Assessment of Water Availability in the Winnipeg River Drainage Basin over the past 2 Millennia

A 4-year NSERC CRD Grant to Researchers at Queen's University to study changes in water availability from lake records across the Winnipeg River Drainage Basin in northwestern Ontario to determine the susceptibility of this basin to synchronous droughts, a naturally recurring feature of climate with dramatic environmental, economic, and social impacts.
