Josephine completed her BAH in Philosophy at Acadia University with a thesis looking at Aristotle’s virtue friendship and her MA in Philosophy at Carleton University with a thesis focusing on the role group mobilization plays in multicultural societies. Her main interests are children’s rights and multiculturalism. She is also interested in reproductive ethics. Her PhD thesis looks at the rights parents and minority cultural communities have with respect to children. Her aim is to highlight why children should be a central concern for both liberal theories in general, and liberal multicultural theories more specifically.
