Phil Smolenski

Phil's primary research interests are centre around liberalism and the philosophy John Rawls, with a particular focus on stability and political community. As a formerly devout Rawlsian, Phil continues to champion the relevance and significance of Rawls's vision, while looking to make his own contribution to liberal political theory. Recently, he's developed an ever-growing interests in political psychology, and research at the intersection of normative and empirical theorizing. During the spring term of 2016, Phil will be away from Queen's as a visiting scholar at Brown University.
