The Environment and Disease: Association or Causation?

Public Health Sciences Speaker

Duncan Hunter

Dr. Hunter recreates the inaugural presidential address by the epidemiologist and statistician, Sir Austin Bradford Hill given at the 1965 meeting of the Section of Occupational Medicine of the Royal Society of Medicine. His criteria or ‘viewpoints’ are taught in all basic epidemiology courses and are important in judging whether an exposure really does cause a disease.

Everyone is encouraged to attend.
